The Local Icons (1–10)

Three Nunns Farm

A sprawling destination known for its massive pumpkin patch, corn maze, and diverse summer fruit seasons. A perfect family outing destination.

Fruits: Strawberries, cherries, peaches, apricots, blackberries, and pumpkins.

Smith Family Farm

Famous for its year-round stand and educational vibe; a cornerstone of Brentwood's agricultural history.

Fruits: Cherries, peaches, plums, nectarines, and tomatoes.

Often referred to as "A Peachy Place," this farm specializes in high-sugar yellow and white peaches.

Chao's Strawberries

A family-owned farm with some of the sweetest strawberries in the county; noted for their hospitality. This is where we source our strawberries for our Jammy Strawberry ice cream!

Gursky Ranch

A popular country store that also offers seasonal u-pick cherries and walnuts.

Fruits: Cherries, walnuts, and dried fruits.

Pomeroy Farm

A family-run orchard that offers a friendly, less-crowded alternative to the larger commercial farms.

Picking Tips:

  • Pick in the morning when it's cooler
  • Look for fruit that's evenly colored and slightly soft to the touch
  • Don't overfill containers—fruit bruises easily
  • Ask farmers what's best that day
